My running has been a bit rubbish recently. Definitely going through the motions. Life has been hectic and lots of runs have been skipped or cut short. Tomorrow I start the training cycle for the Tokyo Marathon on March 1st. I’m excited and terrified in equal measure. To get me in the mood I chose to run a slow half, to remind myself that my legs aren’t starting from scratch. That although I’m out of sorts, I haven’t lost the ability to run.
One of the things that has been keeping me busy lately has been the launch of my book: Run. A book for real runners. A highlight of this week was doing a meet the author event at Eltham library.
A huge thank you to everyone who came, everyone who sent good wishes, to everyone who has bought the book. You are all amazing and this run was for you 😊
