I’ve been so poorly the past couple of days with manflu. So set off with my good buddy Pete to tackle this half. The plan was simply to complete and to do it in under two hours if possible.
Richmond Park is beautiful. The conditions were were very warm though and the course was quite dusty. Pete and I stuck together for 6km and then ran our own races. I tried to keep an even ish pace but it got tougher for the last quarter. In the end I was relieved to cross the line and very pleased to creep in under two hours.
