I ran 7 miles I promise. My Garmin ran out of juice at 10km, but my phone caught the whole run!
This was exactly the run I needed after the weekend. My legs were fresher than usual and I just ran freely without pushing for the first half of this run, I was very surprised to see my pace when I reached the halfway point. One of the best parts of marathon training is that a 10k is ‘a short run’ – it felt comfortable all the way through which I’m pleased about.
This is my big training week, with 12 miles in the schedule for Friday and 21 miles on Sunday. After that we start winding down the distance. Week 12 I’m ready, show me what you’ve got. 😉
