Life conspired against this run, there wasn’t really time to do it in the day. Last night a friend told me to set the alarm half an hour earlier and push my 7am appointment to 7:30 and hey presto there’s enough time to run.

Today’s assigned run was:
2km very easy
10x 100m strides and stretches
2x 2 miles at 7:50/mile (2 mins recovery)
2km very easy

I like these speed runs, because I always wonder if I’ll be able to keep the pace. I’m pleased to say today it felt really good and my pace for all 4 miles averaged out at about 7:32mins per mile.

Next run is London Landmarks Half on Sunday, my last race before #vlm2019 😬
